Daniel Stein, MD, PhD
Dr. Stein is the Associate Chief Health Informatics Officer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. His role is to accelerate clinical innovation at MSK through optimization, enhancement, and implementation of clinical information systems, and through discovery and integration of novel technologies into clinical workflow. Current areas of focus are tools that support safe and efficient clinical care, clinician communication and collaboration, patient engagement, and knowledge management. His team led efforts to stand up and support an informatics infrastructure for a new ambulatory surgery platform at MSK, the Josie Robertson Surgical Center. The center is designed from the ground up to foster high quality, data-driven, patient-centered care and to serve as an innovation hub for the organization.
